Tell me what you think
I have a photo in my files that I had not paid any particular attention to until I did my previous post. I was searching through looking for photos that had orbs in them when I saw this one of the cannon. Just for the heck of it I put it into Picasa so I could fill in the light to see what might show up. Much to my surprise I found this.
Look closely in the red circled area..Do you see the young solider? No one was there when the photo was taken..At lest no one of our world..
Let me know what you think
Click on photo and enlarge on your computer to see the details clearly

Well, admittedly I like to either go back to a place to see it in the daylight to compare the photo findings with what might be there that I didn't see at night, or I like to take pictures while it's still light and be able to compare those to anything found at night. I can't tell you how many times in a graveyard I thought I found something only to find out it was a headstone or a row marker. If you look to the left of your soldier just behind the cannon there is something similarly shaped that appears to be a post or a part of the cannon. If you look at it closely, it appears to have a face as well. I believe that to be just a digital artifact. Both of them are not really human shaped and as for finding faces in other objects, I don't subscribe to that. If you have any daytime shots of the area or other shots, you might try and see if it shows up in those too. It could be something from the background. It's possible to go online and find others who have pictures from that same place too. Hope that helps. I want to hear more about your adventures there. It sounded like a great time!
It certainly looks like something or someone. It makes you think.
Yes, it does look like someone or something standing by the cannon. Like AutumnForest said, I'd like to see what it looks like during the day to compare. However, it does make you think quite a bit. Nice job!

Hi patty, I just found your blog and I have been fascinated with ghosts for a long time:) At first glance, I thought the image had a long white beard, but when you said young soldier, I looked again, and I can see him! I am a firm believer that there is more to us than the physical body and that the soul goes on!
I see something, but I'm not sure what. I like to think that it IS a soldier.
Hey! Love the picture... it does make you wonder.
This is a link to the folks I did an actual investigation with... their evps and fascinating!

They have been on a local radio station all week and the evps they revealed today are freaky! Hopefully they'll post them soon so you can hear.
Oo! Now I have to admit I'm the kind to compare pics like Autumnforest does...take them again at night and even again in the day, but in this case it's not possible, so...
I think it's great fun and very intriguing either way! I'll be referencing it too!
Awesome! I feel you have a great connenction with those who have past one. Especially those in Gettyburg. It like they want you to see them and share their story.
Whoa! Nice picture! It definitely looks like something or someone from the past...
